IoT solution for Aeroponic System

Project: Developing a user-friendly IoT solution that makes aeroponic systems more profitable and less fragile. This project was a SUGAR Network student project conducted in a multidisciplinary team at Aalto University.

Responsibilities: My role was as the design expert in a multidisciplinary team. My main contribution was designing the user experience and interface for the final prototype application.

Marketing Materials

Project: Designing and producing marketing materials for Valmet’s Energy Spare Parts Business line.

Responsibilities: Locating and editing high-quality images and creating product renderings, collaborating closely with engineers to ensure content accuracy, writing the text and creating the visual layouts, producing both digital and print formats, and managing the print orders. The process included following the company’s defined branding guidelines.

Project: Visualizing the client’s responsibility actions in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities: My main contribution was designing the comprehensive visual design of the poster, including the layout and key visual elements.

Brand Reform

Project: Brand Reform including a new logo, website, fair design, and other visual brand elements in multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities: My main contribution was designing the new logo for the client. I was responsible from incorporating the new visual identity into different brand elements, in collaboration with Ida Gröndahl.

Information Design Project

Project: Designing physical and digital information elements for Lahden tiedepuisto spaces in multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities: My main contribution was designing the visual layout from the client’s facilities into an informative map. I was responsible from creating visual infographic elements and posters incorporated into the client’s facilities, in collaboration with Ida Gröndahl. This included developing concepts from the use of these elements and preparing them ready for print.

Project: Designing a packaging design concept for Saarioinen

Responsibilities: I collaborated with the team to ideate design solutions from which my concept was selected by the client. We worked together as a team to further develop and refine the chosen concept.

Product Design for Kindergarten and Schools

Project: Modular product design for Kindergarten and Schools conducted in the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities: My contribution for the project was to 3D model and create renderings from the products: Vilke, Sermikki, and Monipala. I also created the technical drawings from all the products. Other design process stages were conducted in collaboration with the team.

HUVI Upcycled Furniture Series

Project: Designing upcycled and sustainable furniture series from recycled materials. A student project at Metropolia UAS.

Responsibilities: The key design stages were executed as a group, including research, brainstorming, design development, conceptualization of the final product, and creation of the final prototype. Every visualization presented in this project page are created by me.

Exhibition Furniture Series

Project:  Designing concept from functional furniture series for the railway museum and producing fully functional prototype.

Responsibilities: All industrial design stages (designing the physical stands, including 3D modeling, creating technical drawings, and producing both quick and high-quality functional prototypes) were executed in collaboration with Veera Tolonen. My main responsibilities included 3D modelling the products.
